I visited after seeing Edwin Birdsong's name on multiple Roy Ayers songs. I am also married to a Birdsong (from TN not CA). Amazing breakdown in that video above (Kanye, De La Soul, Tribe and the Man who influenced it). So glad to learn about Edwin Birdsong.
